Tibor Junior Competition 2022: registration is open!

Dear young violinists,
If you are between 14 and 17 years old and would like to compete with other young talented violinists, you can register from now until 21 April 2022 for the Tibor Junior International Violin Competition 2022, which will be held from 29 August to 3 September 2022 in Sion.
The candidates will be accompanied by the Sion Festival Orchestra for the 1st and 2nd rounds, and by the Korean Chamber Orchestra for the final. They will also play with another candidate in the 1st round and with a member of the Jury in the final. In addition, they will have the pleasure of interpreting a Piece for violin and orchestra composed especially for the Competition by Uri Brener.
The following prizes will be awarded:
- 1st Prize: CHF 8'000
- 2nd Prize: CHF 3'000
- 3rd Prize: CHF 2'000
- Foundation Prize: a violin worth CHF 10'000
The Jury will be composed of:

Concours Tibor Junior 2022: les inscriptions sont ouvertes!
Chères et chers jeunes violonistes,
Si vous avez entre 14 et 17 ans et désirez vous mesurer à d’autres jeunes talents du violon, vous pouvez vous inscrire dès maintenant et jusqu’au 21 avril 2022 au Concours International de Violon Tibor Junior 2022, qui se tiendra du 29 août au 3 septembre 2022 à Sion.
Les candidats seront accompagnés par l’Orchestre du Sion Festival pour les 1er et 2ème tour, et par le Korean Chamber Orchestra pour la finale. Ils joueront en outre avec un autre candidat au 1er tour et avec un membre du Jury en finale. Par ailleurs, ils auront le plaisir d’exécuter une Pièce pour violon et orchestre composée tout spécialement pour le Concours par Uri Brener.
Les prix suivants seront attribués :
- 1er Prix : CHF 8'000
- 2ème Prix : CHF 3'000
- 3ème Prix : CHF 2'000
- Prix de la Fondation : un violon pour une valeur de CHF 10’000
